Ha grad gseh, dass ig ja im Chäuer no e DVDO Edge ha, woni nüm bruuche.

Me cha dermit DVDs uf 1080p ufescale ohni dass es beschisse usgseht, was hüt nüm würk relevant isch,
und me cha ne, wie im Link beschriebe, für alti Konsolene bruuche, weme ufne nöiiere TV wott dermit.
Damals hett er ir Schwiz zT überne Tuusiger kostet, i ha ne für knapp 700 Stutz importiert, offebar hani mau meh Gäud gha als ize
. Garantie hetts natürlech keni meh.

Falls wer Interesse het, söuer mr doch e PN mache, de diskutiere mr übere Priis. Ha nämlech ke Plan, was me für sowas hüt no cha verlange.Most, if not all new HDTV’s do not deal correctly with the non-interlaced 15kHz output that old games consoles use. If you connect your SNES, Megadrive/Genesis, Saturn etc to your new Plasma/LCD screen, instead of correctly displaying the picture, what you will get instead is an incorrectly deinterlaced, washed out and generally ugly picture. Lots of gamers are happy with this picture, after all, many of us have come from playing our SNES/Megadrive/Amiga (in my case) games in our teens on tiny portable TV’s, often connected with composite cables or RF modulators, to gaming on big screen TV’s with SCART cables. Connecting your retro-console directly to the HDTV’s SCART socket will at least produce a stable, usable picture on most sets, but once you see the improvement a properly video-processed signal makes, you will never go back again.
