https://www.resetera.com/threads/horizo ... ow.436250/Differences Between the PS4 and PS5 Version
The PS5 version will have two modes, one is a performance mode which will run at 60fps only on PS5, and the other Quality mode which will be 4k at 30fps.
Things on the PS5 will be render at a higher resolution, such as each individual strand of moss is rendered separately
They have something call a lighting rig which travels along with Aloy whenever she moves, it lights up her entire character on the PS5. with PS4 it is only in cinematics
The game fully the supports the Dualsense and 3D audio on the PS5
The rendering technique for the underwater scenes is special on the PS5 it has extra details and extra systems, the wave technique is better on the PS5 as well.
"Forbidden West is going to look amazing on the PlayStation 4. We already demonstrated with Horizon Zero Dawn just how pretty our artists and engineers can make an open world on PlayStation 4. Forbidden West is going to look even more pretty on that console.
But PlayStation 5, of course, has the added processing power to go even further.
And at mid-range and long-range we can keep rendering at very high detail, and that’s something that’s just not possible with PlayStation 4."
We also have something we call a lighting rig. This is a setup that travels along with Aloy wherever she moves. It really lights up her entire character in a much better way than what we can normally do. With PlayStation 4, we can only have this lighting setup active in cinematics, because there’s a little bit less game running so there’s more processing power available for that. But on PlayStation 5 there is a lot more processing power.
We can add a lot more detail, graphically, the rendering technique for the underwater scenes is special on the PlayStation 5. It has extra details and extra systems - the wave technique is better on that system as well," de Jonge explains. "

"Our engineers spent an incredible amount of time on the water rendering and wave techniques. They probably spent years on that," said Horizon Forbidden West game director Mathijs de Jonge in a new interview with GQ.
Wie kommst Du auf diese Preise?Tentakel-Dildo hat geschrieben: ↑04 Sep 2021 15:03
Collectors: 200 CHF +80 CHF = 280 CHF
Regalia-Edition: 260 CHF +80 CHF= 340 CHF
As it is, players have to pick up either the Digital Deluxe ($79.99), Collector’s ($199.99) or Regalla ($259.99) editions to get access to both the PS4 and PS5 versions.
